What documentation is required to apply with The Arnold Group?

     

Please review Form I-9 (pg. 5) for a list of all acceptable documents required to apply with The Arnold Group. Please note, a single document from List A satisfies both the identity and employment eligibility requirements. If you do not have a document found in List A, applicants will be required to provide a document from List B (identity) and List C (employment eligibility) when applying with The Arnold Group.

Does The Arnold Group (TAG) charge a fee for its service?

     

We recommend checking in with your TAG supervisor on a weekly basis to remain active in our searches. There is not need to check in more frequently unless your contact information changes.

What type of assignments does TAG offer?

     

The Arnold Group is a full-service human resource company and maintains our position as a leader among staffing service firms by providing qualified associates in over 250 skill categories directed at meeting our clients’ needs.  We provide temporary and direct hire staffing for positions in the areas of:

  • Office-Clerical: Secretaries, general office clerks, receptionists, administrative assistants, word processing and data entry operators
  • Industrial: Manual laborers, assemblers, drivers, tradesmen, machine operators, maintenance workers and welders
  • Technical: Engineers, scientists, laboratory technicians, architects, draftsmen, technical writers and illustrators

What is the average length of a temporary assignment?

     

TAG’s employment opportunities vary; therefore TAG cannot guarantee a specific number of hours or duration. However, our primary goal is to keep you working consistently or find regular, full-time employment for you.

When I work for TAG, who is my employer?

     

TAG is your employer. If you have any problems while on assignment through TAG, contact your TAG supervisor.

How often should I check in with my TAG supervisor when looking for work?

When do I qualify for benefits?

     

You may qualify for some benefits immediately while others require qualifying events. For additional information regarding our benefits, please refer to the TAG Associate Handbook.

Will I get paid vacations and holidays?

     

TAG offers vacation and holiday benefits for associates. Eligibility is based on qualifying events. For additional information regarding our benefits, please refer to the TAG Associate Handbook.

Does TAG withhold payroll taxes while I’m on an assignment?

     

TAG withholds payroll taxes as required by federal and state law.

When should I submit my time sheet and when can I expect to be paid?

     

All TAG associates are paid weekly. Pay periods run from Monday through Sunday and paydays are the following Friday. Time sheets for hours worked should be submitted to our office by 10:00 a.m. every Monday. For additional details, please refer to the TAG Associate Handbook.

What is TAG’s policy if I am unable to report to work or will be late?

     

If you need to be off for the day or are running late, you must contact your TAG supervisor immediately. It is your responsibility to notify your TAG supervisor in advance, otherwise your absence will be considered unexcused and may affect your performance record and future employment opportunities with TAG.

What should I do if my assignment ends?

     

Contact your TAG supervisor and inform him/her of your availability. If you do not contact us, we will assume that you are no longer available for work.

What should I do if I am injured on the job?

     

Should you be injured on the job, notify your client supervisor and your TAG supervisor immediately.  

17.

 

What should I do if a TAG client offers me a full-time position with their company?

     

If you are interested in accepting the position, you must first discuss it with your TAG supervisor. You may accept the offer, but not before making arrangements with your TAG supervisor as you are currently employed by TAG.

Can The Arnold Group be used as references for future employment?

     

Yes, TAG can provide references for future employment.
