Assistant POS Installer

This position involves installing Point of Sale (POS) systems in fast food restaurants nationwide and is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented and enjoys a variety of job duties. The hours are 3rd shift when traveling and 1st shift when in the office. If you meet the following requirements, apply today!
Job Duties:
- Assists lead installer during installation process
- Installs hardware in ceilings and under counters
- Troubleshoots connectivity and software problems
- Trains employees on system operation
- Works on help desk when not traveling
- Attends periodic training sessions on software, hardware, and problem solving
Job Requirements:
- Basic understanding of DOS commands
- Basic understanding of Windows OS
- Willing to work from a ladder
- Possess good command of the English language
- Good telephone etiquette
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to follow directions
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong basic troubleshooting knowledge
- Willing to travel 2–3 weeks a month
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work flexible shifts
- Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screens
- Ability to work as a team player
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to pass criminal background screens (including no felony convictions in the past 10 years and no DUI charges in the past 5 years)
- Solid employment history
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to manage multiple tasks and successfully meet deadlines
- Self-motivated
- Attention to detail
- Experience working in fast food environment preferred
- Computer assembly / disassembly knowledge preferred
- Help desk support experience preferred
- Technical training preferred
