Technical Advisor
Local company is seeking a Technical Advisor! This position provides technical assistance for complex engineering issues and assignments and ensures compliance with federal, state, local, and industry regulations and statutes.
Job Duties:
- Provides technical design assistance for complex engineering assignments to include research, preliminary sketches, or testing
- Performs engineering assignments relative to the compliance of the product with federal, state, local and industry regulations
- Compose written matter relating to instructions, policies, procedures, or engineering for use in external or internal company publications
- Supports product development and participates with troubleshooting, analysis and improvement activities to correct internal and external customer and dealer issues and problems
- Participates with the development, implementation and monitoring of quality assurance standards, processes and controls in accordance with the latest ISO standard
- Provides information and participates in litigation activities involving company products
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and/or Engineering and 3-5 years experience in Transit/Mobility industry or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent knowledge of ISO quality standards as they apply to the transit/mobility industry
- Proficiency with a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheet, database, and other applications
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and action in individual and/or team project environment
- Strong technical, analytical, judgment and operation focus skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability
- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Leadership experience
- Able to pass criminal background and drug screens
- Solid employment history
- ISO Auditor certification preferred
