Assistant Credit & Collections Manager

Job Duties:
- Perform all aspects relating to credit and collections
- Contact vendors regarding the collection of money due
- Enter cash applications to AS400 system
- Perform various filing duties with regards to cash and data entries
- Approve and assign credit limits to vendors
- Request Dun & Bradstreet reports
- Obtain credit references
- Perform as Credit & Collections Manager in his/her absence
- Act as liaison between offices
- Supervise up to 12 salaried employees
- Effective negotiating skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and effectively meet deadlines
- Excellent customer service skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with computer software including MS Excel and MS Word
- Ability to pass criminal background and drug screens
- Solid employment history
- Working knowledge of AS400 system a plus
