The Arnold Group Privacy Policy

The following Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) is applicable to all of the information collected during your use of The Arnold Group’s (“TAG”) web site (this “Site”). Each time you use the web site, this agreement as it then reads will govern your use. Please read this information carefully before accessing any part of this Site.

The Information We Collect

Generally, TAG may gather information about visitors to its Site when it aggregates information gathered by tracking the usage of certain features available on this Site. The collection of this information enables TAG to tailor its content to your needs, keep you informed of information that you may find of interest which assists it in providing appropriate services to its customers.

Specifically, TAG may gather personally identifiable information about visitors to its Site when you enter personally identifiable information such as your full name, gender, street address, telephone number, email address, job interests, job qualifications, and resume. When you choose to provide us with personally identifiable information, TAG will act in a responsible manner. TAG will maintain your personally identifiable information in secure on-line and off-line facilities. The collection of this personally identifiable information enables TAG to begin the job placement process, including the need to pass this information to potential employers.

Finally, TAG may store and disclose personally identifiable information as allowed or required by applicable law, including making disclosures that are necessary or advisable to: (i) protect the rights, safety or property of TAG or others, (ii) conform to legal or regulatory requirements and (iii) a possible sale of assets of TAG.

Except as set forth above, TAG will not disclose, sell, lease, or rent your personally identifiable information.

eResume Submission

For your convenience, TAG provides its Site visitors the ability to submit a resume online. TAG’s Online Resume Submission program requires Site users to provide various kinds of personal information, which may include but is not limited to:

  • Contact Information - including name, address, telephone numbers, and email address;
  • Educational History - including schools attended, year of graduation, grade point averages upon graduation, degrees received, etc.;
  • Employment History - including companies worked for, job titles, job descriptions, etc.;
  • Employment References - including names of persons TAG may contact to verify your employment and/or educational history

This information will be reviewed and used by TAG for the purpose of evaluating you for placement with our clients. It may also be released to potential employers (or their agents) seeking employees with your skills. In addition, TAG may distribute information about its users in aggregate form as it sees fit. Such information will not identify any user in particular, but rather is based on an information summary of all of TAG eResume users.

Information Automatically Collected

Non-Identifiable Information - Like many other Web sites, the Site automatically collects certain non-identifiable information regarding Site users, such as the Internet Protocol (IP) address of your computer, the IP address of your Internet Service Provider, the date and time you access the Site, the Internet address of the Web site from which you linked directly to the Site, the operating system you are using, the sections of the Site you visit, the Site pages accessed and information viewed., and the materials you post to or download from the Site. This non-identifiable information is used for Site and system administration purposes and to improve the Site. Your non-identifiable information may be disclosed to others and permanently archived for future use.

Cookies

The Site uses “cookies”, a technology that installs information on a Site user’s computer to permit the Site to recognize future visits using that computer. Cookies enhance the convenience and use of the Site. eMails From TAG

If you contact TAG or otherwise indicate that you would like to receive email from TAG, then TAG may send to you, from time to time, email or other communications containing information about TAG and other matters (including third party products or services) it believes will interest you. At any time you may ask TAG to stop sending you email and other information by “opting out” under your eResume profile or by contacting tag@the-arnold-group.com. Also, each email TAG sends to you will tell you how to decline further email. From time to time, TAG may also send you email containing important information regarding the Site, which you may not opt out of receiving.

This e-mail message and any attached files may contain privileged or confidential information. The information is exclusively for the use of the individual or entity intended as the recipient. If you are not the intended recipient, any use, copying, printing, reviewing, retention, disclosure, distribution or forwarding of this message or any attached file is not authorized and is strictly prohibited. If you have received this e-mail message in error, please advise the sender by reply e-mail immediately and permanently delete the original transmission, any attachments and any copies of this message from your computer system. Disclosure to Authorizing Person

If your access to certain areas of the Site has been authorized by a TAG customer or other person, TAG may provide your personal information to that authorizing person. TAG has no control over authorizing persons’ use of your personal information, and that use is not necessarily subject to this Policy. If you do not wish your personal information to be disclosed to the person who has authorized your use of the Site, you may not use the Site.

Disclosure to Affiliates

TAG may provide your personal information to its affiliated businesses for employment-related purposes or for use in connection with matters relating to your use of the Site. TAG has no control over its affiliated businesses’ use of your personal information, and that use is not necessarily subject to this Policy. TAG will store and process your personal information in Wichita, Kansas, U.S.A., or, from time to time, in other locations that TAG decides are necessary or convenient in order to provide you with efficient and effective service.

Accessing Your Personal Information

You may request access to your personal information and information about TAG’s collection, use and disclosure of that information by contacting TAG. Subject to certain exceptions prescribed by law, you will be given reasonable access to your personal information, and will be entitled to challenge the accuracy and completeness of the information and to have it amended as appropriate. You can help TAG maintain the accuracy of your information by updating your eResume or by notifying TAG of any changes to your personal information.

Correcting or Retrieving Your Information

If your personally identifiable information changes (such as your job experience, contact information, etc.), or if you no longer want TAG to maintain your information, this can be accomplished by sending us an email or sending your request to The Arnold Group, 530 S. Topeka, Wichita, KS 67202. TAG will send a confirming email to your last known email address of the changes or deletion of your personally identifiable information.

Former Users

If you stop using the Site or your permission to use the Site is terminated, TAG may continue to use and disclose your personal information in accordance with this Policy as amended from time to time.

The Site may contain links to other Web sites or Internet resources. When you click on one of those links you are contacting another Web site or Internet resource that may collect information about you voluntarily or through cookies or other technologies. TAG has no responsibility, liability for, or control over those other Web sites or Internet resources or their collection, use and disclosure of your personal information. Contest and Promotions

If contests or promotions are made available through the Site, the applicable contest or promotion rules may include rules regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal information. Our Commitment to Children’s Privacy

Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, TAG does not intend to or knowingly collect or maintain personally identifiable information from children under 16.

Educate Your Children

Tell your children: “Never talk to strangers!” While TAG does not include material directed to children, it’s a good rule of thumb to teach children that they should not reveal their names or other personal information to anyone they encounter on the Internet. They should also be instructed not to fill out any forms or register at any website without your knowledge and consent.

Governing Law

The internal laws of the State of Kansas, without reference to any choice of law provisions, shall govern any claims relating to any use of, or information on this Site.
